We like knowing what our Olney friends are reading (or listening to or watching)! Each Monday we'll feature an Olney reader's (or listener's or watcher's) favorite title.

Reader: Chi, Librarian Intern at Olney Library
Title: The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht
The Tiger's Wife has a slow start, and readers may have to push themselves through the first 100 pages or so, but the book is definitely worth the effort. The novel's strength lies in its subtle and seamless interweaving of past and present as well as reality and folk stories. It's a beautiful book that explores grief, the aftermath of war, and history of places.Labels: Olney, reading
