At 3:00 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month, a group has been gathering to discuss a variety of titles that relate to Jewish experience as portrayed in literature. Olney's group started last fall and has already grown to nearly 20 members. You do not have to be Jewish to join the discussion--everyone is welcome! You can pick up a copy of the next month's book from the Information Desk at the library on a first-come, first-served basis.
So far, the group has read these titles:
- The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman
- Prague Winter by Madeleine Albright
- The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure
- Rashi’s Daughters: Book lll by Maggie Anton
The next books to be discussed are:
- When Grant Expelled the Jews by Joseph Sarna
- A Guide for the Perplexed by Dara Horn
Happy reading!
